Project Brief
DAME Build completed an entire home renovation project in Northcote, Victoria. The scope of work included a comprehensive interior remodeling, involving the design and construction of a new kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms, and a deck area. The project also encompassed other elements such as electrical work, plumbing, flooring, painting, and the installation of various fixtures and finishes.
Client Brief
The client's vision was to transform their existing home into a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing living space. They desired a complete overhaul of the interior, with a focus on creating an open, inviting kitchen area, luxurious bathrooms, and a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The goal was to create a residential fitout that seamlessly blended style and functionality.
01 Kitchen Renovation
The heart of the home underwent a complete kitchen renovation . The new kitchen features custom cabinetry in a sleek white finish with soft-close mechanisms, ensuring both style and practicality. The spacious island bench with waterfall edges adds a touch of elegance and provides ample workspace for meal preparation and entertaining. High-end appliances, including a built-in oven, induction cooktop, integrated dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer, were installed to elevate the culinary experience. The kitchen also boasts a double-bowl sink, a stylish tap, and a stunning splashback in a complementary colour scheme, creating a cohesive and visually striking space.
02 Laundry Renovation
The laundry renovation transformed this utilitarian space into a functional and visually appealing area. New cabinetry, a single-bowl sink, and a contemporary tap were installed, along with a continuous hot water system for optimal efficiency. The space was tiled with attractive flooring and splashback tiles, creating a cohesive and modern look that seamlessly integrates with the overall design aesthetic of the home.
03 Bathroom Renovation
Two bathrooms underwent complete bathrooms renovation , featuring luxurious finishes and fixtures that exude elegance and sophistication. The master bathroom showcases a freestanding bathtub as the centerpiece, accompanied by a walk-in shower with frameless glass screens, a double vanity with vessel sinks, and a separate toilet area with an in-wall cistern. The main bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, a single vanity, and an in-wall toilet system, all complemented by stylish tile work and waterproof plasterboard, ensuring durability and moisture resistance.

04 Decking & Pregola
The outdoor living area was enhanced with the installation of a new deck made from durable Merbau decking, accompanied by a stylish pergola. The old deck was removed, and a new subfloor was constructed, providing a solid foundation for the new decking. The pergola, with its sturdy posts and beams, creates a shaded and inviting space for outdoor entertaining and relaxation. The deck and pergola offer a seamless transition from the interior to the exterior, blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
05 Other Work
Additional works included electrical upgrades, such as the installation of a new electrical board, downlights, and power points throughout the home, ensuring optimal lighting and convenience. A new subfloor was installed and the flooring was replaced from Baltic Pine to Tasmanian Oak finished with sanding and polishing, giving the interior a fresh and cohesive look. Painting was carried out, both internally and externally, ensuring a consistent colour scheme throughout the property. The roof repairs and restoration included the installation of safety rails, tile replacements, and valley gutter replacements, ensuring the longevity and protection of the home.
The project seamlessly combined custom cabinetry, high-end appliances, luxurious fixtures, and thoughtful design elements to create a stunning residential fitout that exceeded the client's expectations. The end result is a beautifully renovated home that seamlessly blends style, functionality, and comfort, providing the perfect backdrop for the homeowners to create lasting memories.
